Nurturing a Legacy of Freshness Since 1973

Our business has a rich history rooted in family. In 1973, our Grandpa, Don DesPlanques, acquired the family farm, and by 1978, he began selling sweet corn in his backyard and did that for 20 years. In 1999, we moved the stand into town at what was Polk County Bank at the time and is now Grinnell State Bank.

Today, we continue our tradition of providing fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers who share our commitment to quality. Thanks for being a part of our legacy of freshness and community!
